The Yarmouth School Committee approved its proposed budget for the 2021-2022 school year at its March 11, 2021 meeting. The budget is summarized in the slide show linked here, and will be presented to the Town Council on Thursday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m. Please see the Town Council webpage for the link to this virtual meeting.

Dr. Dolloff's proposed budget is explained in narrative form here. Please note that the School Committee amended Dr. Dolloff's budget, increasing the proposal by $250,402. This brings the proposed budget for FY22 to a grand total of $31,456,141, an increase of $2,517,611 (8.7%) over the current year.

With increased revenue from state aid, the impact to the taxpayer will be 5.6%, or $185 annually for every $100,000 of property valuation.

Thursday, April 1 Budget Presentation to Town Council (7:00 p.m.)

Thursday, April 15 Town Council – Public Hearing I and First Reading (7:00 p.m.)

Thursday, May 6 Town Council – Public Hearing II and Second Reading (7:00 p.m.)

Governor Mills may extend the executive order waiving Town Meeting approval again this year, sending the budget directly to the voters in June.
