On April 1, the Yarmouth School Committee adopted The Green Plan to increase in-person student learning beginning May 3, 2021. This plan, created by the Pandemic Task Force, calls for greater use of outdoor spaces, significant adjustment to hygiene and lunch protocols, changes to the learning environment in each classroom, and adjustments to morning and afternoon bus routes. The plan also provides preparation days for staff, changing three student days (two of which are remote days) to staff days and leaves Wednesdays as remote learning days through the end of the current school year.
