Yarmouth Elementary School is being evacuated due to an odor in the boiler room. This is a common occurrence at the beginning of the heating season, and we will have Yarmouth Fire and Rescue ensure that there is no danger of combustion prior to having students return to class.

We apologize for the lateness of Bus #8 on this morning's Yarmouth High School and Harrison Middle School run. We had a late absence and have now filled the slot with a substitute driver. All should be on schedule for the elementary run. Thank you for your patience.

Good afternoon: Earlier today, after the end of the school day, we received word that a non-specific threat has been made toward a school from a phone somewhere in the Falmouth/Cumberland region. Falmouth Police quickly located the position of the individual who posted this message and took the perpetrator into custody. We have been told that police believe there was no credibility to the threat and that no further threat exists at this time. I am notifying you simply to make you aware that this occurred, and that we continue to work with our local police department to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff. Please excuse the brevity of this message as I am sending this while traveling and do not have access to a computer. I hope you all have an enjoyable and peaceful holiday weekend.
