Here is a snapshot of a few of our 7th graders on a field trip to Sandy Point today. Students collected data for a research study on the growth and health of Ascophyllum nodosum, or rockweed, a common seaweed form of algae. Well done, HMS scientists!

Tomorrow, we will be begin our exchange of 350 Peace Cranes with schools in several countries, including Sierra Leone, Mexico, England, and Russia. Our students have really enjoyed making the cranes. Many thanks to Merry Stuhr, our librarian, for heading up this project!
