Jasper Keller, 7th grader, designed and built a new shelving unit for our library! He did some great problem-solving, including how to build it in parts to fit through narrow doors. Thank you to Mr. Corey, HMS STEAM teacher, for his support. Great work, Jasper, and thank you!

Sailing Opportunity! The Yarmouth High School sailing team is excited to share the joy of sailing with potential sailors. The SailMaine program is open to anyone, including novices. There are scholarships for equipment, and the community is well supported. This is a great opportunity for children who live in Yarmouth to learn a lifelong sport. The HS team is holding a "take a friend sailing" event, with their SailMaine coaches, on Monday, May 22. We would love to extend this invitation to the HMS community, especially 8th graders who might consider (and not be aware of ) this great opportunity to sail in high school. All equipment will be provided. If interested, contact Michelle Dietz at: michellej.dietz@gmail.com. Monday's event will be from 2:45-6pm.
